HomeMade Wings

Oven Baked Sweet & Spicy Wings

1.5 Lb fresh chicken wings (cleaned)
3 Tb spoon sugar
1tsp soy sauce
1 Tsp hot chilli powder ( you can substitute suya spice)
A pinch cumin
salt to taste
3Tspn water or lemon juice

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl,  pour over wings. mix in with a spatula until chicken is finely coated.
  • Turn over on to 350f, place seasoned wings in a large tray and set in the oven for 20mins
  • Remove chicken from the oven, increase oven heat to 400f, sprinkle on a little more sugar On the wings. place the tray back in the oven and bake for another 10mins

*am salivating seriously *...you are such a wonderful cook! Looking at ALL the posts....made me *green with envy o!*...oh! how i wish i can have such palatable dishes in my home EVERYDAY!......OOOOOOOOH!...I just remembered!..I LIVE IN A GOD-FORSAKEN COUNTRY CALLED NIGERIA WHERE NOTHING W-O-R-K-S! I don't even have an gas cooker, talkless of an oven or micro wave! DID i tell you FOODSTUFF is on the increase everyday?..OH NO! I AM RANTING ON SOMEONE ELSE BLOG!!!!...No vex ooo my dear...see the FRUSTRATION OF LIVING IN 9JA!

p.s...am using generator & it's 10:30pm!...*sighs angrily!*..*a big sulking going on here o!*

awww.... Thank youthank you :)....I feel you on 9ja oooo, it's not like there is electricity when you actually manage to buy the appliances. I HOPE & PRAY that my generation will make some significant changes in that country. Most of our problems are easy to solve, I got an undergrad degree in Business&Economics so as to understand our policy implications. I am sure we all know by now that the problem with Nigeria is Nigeria!!! O so help US God. I digress from food but yeah... we should start a political forum. :)

I had this for dinner last night :) i used drum sticks though. I cut them into small pieces and it tasted yummy.

Can you please put up a recipe with spare ribs. I've tried a couple of that didn't go well with my palate and I still have 2lbs left in my freezer.
