So this is 'adalu'. I cook it occasionally - It's ewa n' agbado (Beans and corn) to me, lol.

I love it with the western sweetcorn than the African corn - WS is so much softer and sweeter.

@Adiya; It possibly one of the simplest dishes you can make... lol. You need to try it!

@Naijaline: same hereee..OMG.. not the hard corn they use to use when i was in boarding house, it'S AWESOME with sweet corn!

Do you read minds? I still craved this last week. It's funny that I had never thought of cooking it with sweet corn. NEVER. I was actually thinking of cooking it with the corn we buy to make popcorn.

I will definitely be trying this out.

It is funny to realise how much I hated it whene my mum cooked beans when I was much younger and now, I make sure I have a big bowl of adalu or ewaologede in my fridge every week!

@Kitkat... I honestly don't know, I didn't even take home economics in senior high. I just have a very interesting love for food.

@OS..HAHHA.. I wish I did! lol@ popcorn corn, will it even get soft? let me know ao you like it with kernel corn.

@HoneyDame..I know se. I used to form "beans hater", not really because I hated beans sha, just because everyone around me did, so I thought I had to "feel among". lol... what is "ewaologede"? (beans with plantain?)

@Naijamum... it is scrumptious, I mean it's beans and corm (2 delish things) lol... let me know ao u like it.

@Caxperience.... :) thank u

@Nikkisho: the corn gives a nice contrast to the beans, it's not as hard as 9ja corn, but it works as great. Appreciate ur comment always :)
